About Us
We're just two good ole' girls that are passionate about life, goats and FFA! We decided to team up and put together this website as one of our SAE's (Supervised Agricultural Experiences) and we hope to promote agricultural education programs as well as help out anyone who wants to learn a little more about our favorite livestock animals! Here's a little more about us...
Farmer Stubbs
My name is Farmer Stubbs. I am currently the Vice President of my FFA Chapter, AAEC-PV. I love being in Future Farmers of America! My SAE's (Supervised Agricultural Experiences) are entrepreneurship with my Lionhead rabbit, cavy, and Pygmy goat. I just recently bought an Alpine buck and will be studding him out in the fall. If your interested let me know. ;) Just email us whenever you want. One of my favorite pastimes is volunteering, I have approximately 1,600 hours. I have volunteered at AAWL (Arizona Animal Welfare League), Amazing Aussies (LOVE THEM!), and many, many, many others. I am in several clubs at school such as Ecology Club, National Honors Society, SHA, and obviously FFA. I have competed in the Arizona Envirothon twice, once in which was with Farmer Dally. I am also in Girl Scouts, I have been for about 10 years. I have completed my Bronze and Silver Award. My Gold Award plans have been approved and I am in the process of putting it together. I am working with Game and Fish to eradicate Bullfrogs, which are invasive, from Horseshoe Ranch's pond. I am currently interning at Palo Verde Animal Hospital and newaah.allabouthorses.com. My internships have given me many opportunities and knowledge, I hope to learn many more things through my time with them. My goal is to be a veterinarian in the future. I have not decided what kind of veterinarian at this time, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. For my DMV I plan to enter University of Wisconsin, University of California-Davis, or Colorado University. My back up plan is an Animal Physical Therapist. At the moment my favorite flower is the Sunflower and I love to smile and make funny faces at people.
Farmer Dally
My name is Farmer Dally and I'm an FFA Chapter President, Dairy Goat Herdswoman, Girl Scout, Ecologist and an avid Horsewoman. I love to judge horses, and will be going to the FFA National Convention to compete on Arizona's State Champion Horse Judging Team. I have also competed in Wildlife Management, Veterinary Technician and Dairy Judging CDE's (Career Development Events). My SAE's (Supervised Agricultural Experiences) include pygmy goat breeding, rabbitry, equine management and dairy goats. I am a member of my school's Ecology Club and have competed at the Arizona Envirathon. I have been in Girl Scouts for 6 years, have completed my Bronze and Silver awards and am currently working on my Gold Award. I have completed over 800+ hrs of community service and was awarded the TruWest Credit Union Teen of the Year award in 2010. I work at a horse boarding stable and at a local restraunt. My goals include an Equestrian Sciences Bachalaure's Degree at William Woods University, as well as (hopefully) a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicince at Colorado State University. I hope to become a livestock veterinarian and raise livestock, small stock and poultry on my own ranch. My hobbies include riding my horse, reading and drawing :) Please email me if you would like to request a resume'. My email is: [email protected]
